The Parish of West Thunder Bay is a two-point Anglican parish whose church buildings are located in the Township of Oliver-Paipoonge on the western edge of the City of Thunder Bay, in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. Oliver-Paipoonge is primarily a rural residential area. The Parish of West Thunder Bay is the western-most parish within the Diocese of Algoma.

St. Marks’ Anglican Church is located in Rosslyn Village, 5 km from the western limit of the City of Thunder Bay. The Village is a bedroom community with homes constructed in a grid of two streets paralleling the main street, Rosslyn Road, and blocks formed by six perpendicular streets.  Numerous new housing developments have been established in the area between the Village and the neighbouring city. A large Community Centre, hardware store, convenience store, and several golf courses are all within a 3 km radius of the village center.

St. James’ Anglican Church is located on the outskirts of the village of Murillo, 20 km to the north and west of St. Marks’, and approximately 20 km west of the city of Thunder Bay.  Murillo is a hamlet, home to the Municipality’s office and Community Centre complex, a hotel, a large grocery store and numerous small businesses.  Housing has developed throughout the region surrounding this community.
